Frequently asked questions
What does RSVP mean?
RSVP stands for “Répondez s'il vous plaît”, French for “please reply”. On a wedding invitation it asks your guests to let you know by a certain date whether they are coming.
When should guests reply?
Usually four to eight weeks before the wedding – depending on when venue and caterer need the final number. Put the date on the invitation and remind everyone still pending by email in time.
Can guests change their reply?
Yes. As long as your website accepts replies, your guests can change their answer, plus-ones and menu choice themselves. You see the change instantly.
What about guests without a smartphone or email?
The website works on a computer or tablet too. And for those who'd rather call or send a card: you enter the reply in your guest list yourselves – with plus-ones and menu, just like an online reply.
Can families reply for everyone?
Yes. Put guests in a group and let them reply for each other. Then a parent can reply for the whole family, for example.
Do our guests need an account?
