Seating chart

Your seating chart – drag and drop

Who sits next to whom? Set up your tables, drag your guests onto their seats and swap until it's right. The seating chart knows your RSVPs – and is print-ready for the venue in the end.

Free for up to 30 people, with every feature. For bigger weddings you unlock once for €79 – no subscription.

How your seating chart comes together

  • Round and rectangular tables

Add as many tables as your venue has: round or rectangular, with your number of seats and, if you like, head seats at the ends. Every table gets a name or number.

  • Seat by seat

Drag people onto a particular chair. If someone lands on a taken seat, the two swap. On a phone you tap the person first, then the seat.

  • Only those who are coming

The seating chart lists everyone who said yes to this event – with their plus-ones and the two of you. If someone declines, their seat becomes free. Children are marked as children.

  • One chart per event

Plan the evening party and the next morning's brunch separately, each with the guests attending it.

  • Print-ready for the venue

Print all tables with names at a glance for venue and staff. On the day, the check-in list shows every guest their table.

Table cards with QR code

Your tables can become table cards: one card per table with its name and the QR code your guests use to upload their photos.

  • One card per table or one for all
  • PDF to print yourself or for the print shop

Tips for your seating chart

  • Start with the top table and the families, then the circles of friends.
  • Seat people together who know each other or have something in common – and mix a little.
  • Plan the chart once most replies are in, and keep a seat or two spare.

How it works

  3. 3

    Print

Print the chart for the venue and, if you like, design matching table cards.

Frequently asked questions

How many people fit at a table?

That depends on the venue: round tables usually seat eight to ten, rectangular ones more depending on their length. At Unser Ja you set the number of seats per table yourselves.

Who is on the seating chart?

Everyone who said yes to the event, with their plus-ones – and the two of you. Guests who haven't replied or declined are not on it.

What happens if someone declines?

The person disappears from the seating chart and their seat becomes free. New yeses appear under “No seat yet” until you seat them.

How do I plan for children?

Children get a seat like everyone else and are marked as children on the chart – so you can see where a high chair is needed.

Can I print the seating chart?

Yes. You print all tables with the names of their guests, for the venue or as a display. You can also design table cards as a PDF.

Does the seating chart cost anything?

No. The seating chart is part of every wedding – free for up to 30 people, a one-time €79 for bigger weddings.
