Frequently asked questions
How do we make a wedding guest list?
First write down everyone who comes to mind, then sort them into groups – family, friends, colleagues. Decide early whether children and plus-ones are invited and who only comes to part of the day. The template has a column for all of it.
How do we count plus-ones and children?
Every person gets a row of their own. Mark children with an x in the “Child” column; plus-ones enter the name of the guest they come with under “Invited by”. That way the numbers for the venue and catering add up.
Does the template work with Google Sheets or Numbers?
Yes, the file also opens in Google Sheets, Numbers and LibreOffice. To import it into Unser Ja, save it as .xlsx or .csv.
Can we import our own spreadsheet?
Yes. The import recognises common column names such as “First name”, “Email” or “Postal code”, and you can match every column yourself. With the template everything fits right away.
